This interesting contrast is undoubtedly due to the hit series Wednesday, produced by Tim Burton for the Netflix platform and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The Gothic style of Wednesday Addams has certainly won everyone over – or almost, just think of the iconic ballet gone viral on TikTok, where even famous people have dabbled in releasing their own version.
This is the case of Lady Gaga, just to name one, who dances under the notes of her Bloody Mary, which became one of the most listened songs after the series.
On the other hand there is Enid, Wednesday’s roommate, whose aesthetic was built in stark contrast to that of the protagonist of the series. A room divided in half: on the one hand the explosion of colors of Enid, where pink, yellow and orange prevail; on the other the total black of the cynical protagonist.
Two wardrobes that couldn’t be more different than that and two opposing personalities.
Enid’s colourful wardrobe, in fact, fully expresses its sunny, lively and optimistic character: pink turtlenecks, rainbow sweaters and heart prints are a constant, a must-have, which goes well with the girl’s pink hair, bright eye shadows and sharp nails and multicolor werewolf.
The net goes crazy, showing on the one hand the dark ballet and on the other hundreds of tutorials on how to replicate the snood, the hood scarf of Enid has become iconic.
