The new fabric selected by Manifattura Foderami Cimmino is polyester, with patterned prints and bright colors inspired by the South Korean television series Squid Game<\/strong>. The series, which has enjoyed worldwide success, consists of nine episodes and tells the story of a group of people involved in a deadly survival game.Up for grabs are 45.6 billion won, or about 33 million euros, for the one person who will have the good fortune to stay alive and win every challenge. The activities that participants have to take part in are simply a reproduction of famous games for children, some also known by us Western, as “A two three star” with the now iconic Child robot<\/strong>, and others more popular in Korea as “the game of caramel”, the second challenge that the characters are forced to face. The game consists in being able to extract a shape from a caramel cookie<\/strong>, using a simple pin. In Korea they are called dalgona<\/strong> and are typical sweets of Korean street food, simply composed of sugar and baking soda.<\/p>\n\n

The enormous robot child, apparently harmless but revealed to be a ruthless weapon, immediately became one of the symbols of the television series, so much so that it is also one of the subjects of the printed fabric Korea<\/strong>. The fabric, in addition to the appearance of the doll, also shows the geometric symbols<\/strong>that appear on the masks of the guards. These represent some letters of the Korean alphabet: the circle corresponds to the “O”, the triangle is a part of the “J” and, finally, the square is the equivalent of the letter “M”. Put together, these three letters form the initials of the “game of the squid”<\/strong>, or the final challenge that the survivors will be forced to face in order to win the rich prize money: Ojingeo Geim. The other printed fabric depicts the shapes of the caramel cookies: a star, an umbrella, a circle and a triangle.<\/p>\n\n

The fabrics are versatile, because they can be used in different ways, also suitable for those who love to do cosplay or for those who wait for the Carnival to show off something special, such as the costumes of all the protagonists of the lucky series Squid Game.<\/p>\n\n
